Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am inspired by leaders who build institutions that expand opportunity. One of the figures who most influences my thinking is Nelson Mandela, whose leadership showed that courage, education, and justice can transform societies. His example reminds me that institutions should serve people, expand opportunity, and strengthen communities.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the impact of the work. When I see young people gain access to education, jobs, or leadership opportunities that once felt out of reach, it reinforces why the work matters. I also stay grounded through learning, mentorship, and constantly asking how institutions can better serve communities and strengthen democracy.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the funds into expanding community based education and workforce development programs through the Cadence Institute and The Thinkubator. The resources would support training programs, youth leadership initiatives, and research that helps communities better understand economic opportunity and civic participation. The goal is simple: turn ideas into real pathways for mobility.
