Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is deeply rooted in my upbringing and life experiences. Growing up in the Philippines with limited resources instilled in me the values of hard work, resilience, and perseverance. Opportunities were not always readily available, so I learned early on how to be resourceful, disciplined, and determined to create my own path forward. That foundation continues to guide how I approach challenges and opportunities in business today.

How do you stay motivated?

Time motivates me. Our time is not guaranteed, so I make the most of the time I have at hand. The drive to help others motivates me. Not everyone is afforded with opportunities. I feel lucky I had opportunities in my life’s journey. My humble beginnings and where I am now in life motivate me to continue to do better and a good example to others and what I do has meaning; that is - helping, healing, and making a difference in people’s lives. I am driven by the need to help others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to win the $25,000, I would reinvest it into my business to continue growing and expanding the level of care we provide. Currently, I am supporting a woman who is in school to become the first female plastic surgeon in Tanzania—an achievement that would have a profound and lasting impact on healthcare in her country. Part of the winnings would go toward helping her complete her medical fellowship.
