What is Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy biggest inspiration is my family: my mother, who sacrificed everything to give her children a better future, and my brothers and sister, Johanna, and my babygirl Leslie. I also carry the lessons of my aunt, who ran her pharmacy for over 40 years and showed me what resilience and entrepreneurship truly look like. The women mentors and entrepreneurs in my community continue to inspire me to build businesses that create opportunity, amplify underrepresented voices, and open doors for others.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by remembering that entrepreneurship is bigger than me. As a Dominican immigrant and founder, I know my work opens doors for others who may not see themselves represented in business. Every grant won, every workshop taught, and every story shared reminds me that building a business can change lives and communities.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 to support my transition into running my businesses full time so I can help more entrepreneurs access funding and leadership development. The funds would expand our educational tools, strengthen our digital platform, and allow us to host community workshops that help founders secure grants and build sustainable businesses.
