Add in the challenges of educational interruption for Covid-19, societal changes, and increasing student mental health issues, and reading scores are lower than ever before, in an age where reading is still desperately needed for academic and life success. I believe every child has the right to read and can learn to read, and that families of all kinds can help children grow academically.
How do you stay motivated?My biggest motivation is my 19-month-old, Ele. She represents all my hopes and dreams. I also think about the huge unmet need of today's children and youth.
What would you do with the $25,000?This money could fund our business and our life while the business grows and allow me to reach many more children who could benefit from supplemental reading instruction and guidance. It would be life-changing.
