Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business are my two daughters! I have a desire to show them how to work hard to achieve their goals and to follow their dreams. I desire to leave a legacy for them to aid them in their aspirations and to have the heart to pay it forward, make a difference and build a pathway that others can follow to better themselves. I don’t just desire to show them good business but rather integrity, faith, trustworthiness, kindness and right living.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated through faith by prayer and through the support of my husband, children and family. I have never been a person to give up, but I do recognize my strength is not my own. I also am very aware I could do none of this alone, and there is power in the community of care. I also stay motivated that my efforts and hardwork could be motivation and encouragement for someone else to never give up, continually believe in themselves, and to know they are not alone.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would build a location for my business that also gives me the capability to pay back to the community monthly with classes and sessions for the baking industry. I also would work towards developing an internship for those who finish classes at the school I volunteer for who have an interest in baking/pastry. I would be honored to to receive just in order to give!
