Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration is my grandmother, Lillie Pearl Walker, whose compassion and resilience shaped my passion for serving seniors. She showed me the importance of dignity, care, and community. Her influence led me to build businesses that support seniors aging at home while also creating opportunities for caregivers and entrepreneurs to build meaningful, purpose-driven careers.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the impact of my work. Every client we serve, caregiver we employ, and entrepreneur I mentor represents a life being improved. I also stay grounded in my faith and purpose. Building systems that help others succeed keeps me focused, and seeing seniors receive compassionate care reminds me daily why this work matters.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the funds into expanding programs that help seniors age safely at home and strengthen the support systems around them. This would include caregiver training, technology that improves monitoring and safety for seniors, and outreach programs that educate families about quality home care options. The goal is to expand access to dignified care while creating sustainable jobs in the community.
