Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My two biggest inspiration in business was my husband Patrick and my faith in God. My husband taught me the value of hard work, perseverance and kindness and my faith taught me to believe in the gifting God has given each and every single on of us, and to run my business with integrity, gratitude and service to others.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by reminding myself the why behind starting this business in the first place, my passion, and my goals. I set small, achievable goals, celebrate every wins, keep learning to improve my crafts, staying connected to my client, surrounding myself with positive people. My motivation can also come from seeing how my creations become part of people's special moments, like birthdays, weddings, and celebrations. That impact can be incredibly rewarding.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 would be an incredible opportunity for me. I would invest it directly into growing my business, Esther’s Cakes N Sweets. I would upgrade some of my baking equipment, improve my display area for customers, and invest in marketing so I can reach more people in the community. My goal is to continue growing the business, create opportunities, and keep sharing my passion for baking with the community.
