Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My dad. My entire life I've watched my parents struggle to raise 13 kids while my dad worked hard to be a successful entrepreneur. Everything that could have gone wrong in his career did, leaving my parents completely financially ruined to this day. I've since made it my life's mission to bring honor to my family and redeem my father (financially and emotionally) through becoming a successful entrepreneur, succeeding at what he spent decades trying to do. I will and cannot stop until I succeed.

How do you stay motivated?

I remember my why. When I think of my dad, my mom, and my siblings, I have more strength to move forward. Every morning I go on a run and listen to "The Dog Days Are Over." I'm not a very emotional person, though every morning I find myself in tears as I listen to the words - "Run fast for your mother, run fast for your father Run for your children, for your sisters and brothers" Thinking of what having a successful business could do for them makes me want it more than any

What would you do with the $25,000?

I need this grant to continue developing our app, Bounty, an accountability app that helps people reach goals by putting money on the line. Funds will be used for backend development, legal compliance, software tools, and paid marketing. This will improve product stability, grow our user base, and help us move from early traction to scalable growth. This money would be life-changing for us and would really help us get ahead!
