Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

When I was 9, I started watching woodworking creators on YouTube. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be like them. For my 10th birthday, I asked my parents for a drill and an IG account to share my woodworking journey with others. After 8 years, my passion for woodworking and content creation has grown more than ever. My hope is to inspire other kids to work with their hands and to advocate for trade skills through my experiences

How do you stay motivated?

Through charity and community work. When I started my business, I chose to support SickKids Foundation through my charity builds and sales. As a kid (now adult), I want to help other kids. Since I started my business, I’ve raised over $22,000 for SickKids and I'd love to do more. I'm also active in the woodworking and maker communities as I believe it's important to build trust with my audience and use my platform to make a positive impact in the industry and the causes I believe in

What would you do with the $25,000?

With AI and automation taking over the world, things made with our hands are becoming a lost art. I want to solve for the lack of advocacy and appreciation towards trade skills for mine and future generations. I'd use the money to buy tools and AV equipment to make better content and reach a wider audience. Also, I’d use the money to collaborate with causes that support education of trade skills. I want to ensure that other kids know that learning trade skills can lead to rewarding careers
