Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the women and families in my community working hard to build stability with limited resources. I’m also inspired by my parents’ work ethic and the legacy of entrepreneurs who created opportunity where none existed. Their example reminds me that business can be more than profit, it can nourish people, strengthen communities, and open doors for others.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the example of my aunt, who showed me what it means to serve people with love, compassion, and consistency. I watched her feed, advise, and support others even when life wasn’t easy for her. My father was the first person who truly believed in me and encouraged me to keep going. Though he has passed, his belief still drives me. I now build my business to honor them and to show my children that serving and uplifting others truly matters.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would scale Ya Favorite Auntie LLC by investing in commercial kitchen equipment, food production capacity, branding, and marketing. This would allow me to expand catering and meal services while developing wellness and entrepreneurship programs that serve families and communities. My goal is to build a business that nourishes people, creates opportunity, and turns service into sustainable impact.
