Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Melinda Gates is my primary inspiration for her unprecedented ability to bridge elite business strategy with global health equity. As an engineer, I admire her data-driven approach to solving systemic health challenges. She proved that technical innovation is only as powerful as its accessibility. Inspired by her leadership, I am building Curiva to ensure that diaPatch™ isn't just a technological breakthrough, but a scalable tool for eradicating cervical cancer worldwide.

How do you stay motivated?

As an engineer, I am naturally driven by solving complex problems, but my true motivation comes from the human cost of inaction. In the MedTech space, every day spent in development is a day someone lacks access to life-saving screening. This urgency fuels my focus. Whether I’m refining the technical precision of diaPatch™ or navigating the entrepreneurial journey, the goal of preventing a single avoidable diagnosis is what keeps me relentless in the pursuit of global health equity.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will use the $25k as catalyst capital to bridge the gap between our current prototype and clinical validation. By funding final-stage pilot testing and regulatory filings, we de-risk diaPatch™ for institutional investors. This unlocks the $500k+ seed round required for mass production. At scale, every $1 invested in early detection can save over $20 in long-term treatment costs. This grant is the spark that turns a $25k award into a multi-million dollar impact on global health equity.
