Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from seeing the confidence a simple service can bring someone. A fresh set of braids or lashes can completely change how someone feels about themselves. I’m also inspired by other entrepreneurs who started with just a skill and turned it into a business that supports their family and community. That motivates me to keep growing Pooh’s Beauty Bar and showing others that their talents can become something bigger.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started. Every client who trusts me with their hair or beauty reminds me that I’m building something meaningful. I also stay focused on my long-term goals of growing Pooh’s Beauty Bar into a larger brand and creating opportunities for others in the beauty industry. Seeing progress, even in small steps, keeps me pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would invest it into expanding Pooh’s Beauty Bar. I would upgrade equipment, purchase high-quality products, improve marketing, and create a more comfortable beauty space for my clients. I would also use part of it to expand services and invest in training so I can continue improving my craft and provide even better experiences for my community.
