Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Entrepreneurs who rebuild and innovate after facing adversity are inspirational. Especially, the women business owners I have met and worked with who rise after hard seasons and choose to lead and support one another. They carry families, businesses, and communities on their backs. Their resilience, grit, and quiet courage remind me of a phoenix rising from the ashes. Their strength and passion is inspiring and I want to do everything I can to support them in their journeys.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I know that my contributions are valuable. I have committed to this journey and I know how much my work means to those around me and ultimately to the communities they serve. I know what it’s like to rebuild and come out stronger, in all walks of life. When a client finds clarity or peace after a hard season, I am reminded of my own turning points. Their breakthroughs keep me grounded in purpose.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use any prize money to fund the efforts I am engaged in to reach as many small businesses and entrepreneurs as possible, and to develop and provide more cost-effective solutions for their most vexing legal problems. This funding would also allow me to create tools and workshops that give small business owners clarity, confidence, and a sense of community as they grow.
