Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am inspired by my deceased grandparents who were very selfless. They fed everyone including family, friends and neighbors. I am inspired when I see any member of the homeless population, but more so homeless vets. I am inspired by felons being released back into society and wanting a fresh start. I am inspired by the many times I service my patients and they smile, no matter what they are going through. I am inspired by the good I will continue to do in my life that brings others happiness.

How do you stay motivated?

I am motivated by helping people build a better future. I am motivated by Entrepreneurship, financial stability and building something that belongs to me. I am motivated by family and legacy. My faith and growth motivate my purpose in life. That is helping people succeed, while building something meaningful that last. Once you have stared in the face of failure or loss, it ignites something deep within! That something becomes my pathway to growth and self-improvement.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I plan to start the renovations on my inherited family property; I will house homeless vets and felons being released back into the community and are looking for a true fresh start. I am introducing them to a step program that gives them food and shelter, as well help them find skills that they too can build from. They will return as working citizens who won't have to be defined by their past. I have formed a care team that will bond together to hold accountability, instruction and resources.
