Free RegistrationGrowing up in the manner in which I did and watching what my mother and grandmother dealt with on a daily bases inspires me. I want nothing more to inspire girls to empower themselves in a way in which my mother and grandmother couldn't.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by reminding myself daily that I never want a young girl to deal with the abuse I dealt with growing up. I want to continue showing them of their worth. If I can save one young lady I've done what I've been called to do.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would start empowerment programs in schools, find a space where young girls could come and feel safe, if only for a couple hours. I would do field trips showing them a more positive outlook on life and the possibilities that are open to them.
