Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My grandmother was the inspiration behind my journey into massage therapy. During her battle with cancer, she often experienced severe muscle pain after chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Many days she would ask me to rub her back to help ease the discomfort. While I massaged her shoulders and back, she would always say, “You should be a doctor with hands like yours.” After she passed away, those words stayed with me. They inspired me to pursue a career as a massage therapist.

How do you stay motivated?

After becoming a massage therapist, I had a dream of oil being poured into my hands, which confirmed my purpose and inspired the name Anointed Touch Massage. I believe my work is more than a profession, it is a calling. My mission is not only to relieve pain but to promote healing and restoration. Through therapeutic touch, I believe lives can be transformed and that with just one touch, healing can begin.

What would you do with the $25,000?

A $25,000 investment could help Anointed Touch Massage grow by funding marketing to attract full-price clients and reduce reliance on Groupon, purchasing an electric lift massage table to improve treatment quality and reduce strain, and hiring another therapist to increase service capacity. It could also support business systems, supplies, and operating capital while the business builds a steady client base.
