Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is the power of building something meaningful from the ground up. I started Pensacola Candle Company in my home during the pandemic and grew it into a thriving small business rooted in creativity and community. I’m inspired by other entrepreneurs who build brands with intention, create jobs, and give back locally. Knowing our products bring comfort, celebration, and connection to people’s homes keeps me inspired every day.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a business that supports my livelihood and contributes to my community. Seeing customers return, businesses choose our candles for their clients, and our products used at local events reminds me that the work matters. I’m also driven by the vision of growing Pensacola Candle Company into a nationally recognized brand.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The funding would allow me to scale production and strengthen the foundation of my business. I would invest in equipment, raw materials, and packaging to increase production capacity, as well as expand into new product categories like diffusers and home fragrance. A portion would also support marketing and e-commerce improvements so we can reach customers beyond our local market while continuing to grow jobs and partnerships within our community.
