Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I grew up in a salon, so most people assume my parents inspired my business. In reality, it was the people I worked beside. I watched colleague after colleague work tirelessly and still struggle to make it in this industry. That experience shaped me. I knew there had to be a better way, and I wanted to create a salon where people felt respected, supported, and valued for their work.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started. I wanted to build something better for the people in this industry, and every time I see someone grow, gain confidence, or find success, it reminds me the work is worth it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use a $25,000 impact grant to invest in my team and community, offering training, mentorship, and resources for new and struggling technicians. Part would support wellness initiatives, creating opportunities that multiply impact. My goal is to strengthen both people and community, helping others succeed while giving back in meaningful ways.
