Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My dad has always been my biggest inspiration. Although he passed away when I was young, he was an entrepreneur and instilled in me a mindset of always building platforms and ideas that bring people together. In business, I watched him work, take many risks, and mentor others to do the same. This has planted a seed in me to become the community builder I am today and to continue his legacy.

How do you stay motivated?

Whether it's music or MatchPoint, that motivation to make others happy through togetherness remains my through line. MatchPoint recently had its first tournament and had 200 athletes competing. It started just as an idea, but I feel grateful that a community has rallied behind it. Although I have a responsibility to keep building for the community, I can not say that it does not drive me either.

What would you do with the $25,000?

MatchPoint is a community-building platform that I really believe strengthens the volleyball ecosystem by connecting athletes. With the reward, I will expand the number of competitions we have locally and eventually nationally. Additionally, a large part of our success comes from short-form skits. If we win, I would love to grow production and make higher-quality content for our growing community.
