My inspiration came from my own burnout in medicine. During that season, I felt God calling me to build something for healthcare workers. I remember thinking, “I’m not an entrepreneur. I’m a doctor.” I felt unqualified. But I’ve learned that God qualifies those He calls. Every step of this journey has been guided by faith and purpose. I’m inspired to create real change for healthcare workers who are often forgotten while caring for everyone else.

Discipline and consistency have always been part of who I am. Medicine requires that mindset, and entrepreneurship does too. But what truly motivates me is the mission behind Rest & Rx. I believe this work is a calling. Knowing that healthcare workers are struggling with burnout and deserve better keeps me going. The vision of creating a platform that supports their wellness, community, and longevity in medicine fuels me every day.

The funding would accelerate the growth of Rest & Rx by supporting app development, new wellness features, and marketing to reach more healthcare workers. It would also help us introduce quarterly wellness boxes filled with curated tools and products for rest, recovery, and self-care; and host semiannual wellness retreats designed to help healthcare professionals reset, recharge, and reconnect with purpose.
