Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. I’ve always had my passions, been a hard worker and had good ideas but it wasn’t until I read “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter” that really tied it all together and lit that spark. It was the kind of spark that made me believe in myself and think to take all the skills I’ve learned and apply them to my love of traveling. Since then I’ve been working, building and refining at every step.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I’m confident that what I’ve built is something that will not only have a great positive impact on my community but expand and have that same impact for other communities. Knowing that I can have a lasting, positive impact on communities and benefit the culture is more than enough to keep me motivated.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 I’m going to invest it into my business for capital, get expenditures under control, acquire new assets that support the direction the business is growing in and start one of my community initiatives called “The Away Team Passport Program”. It’s where every year we partner with a school to give students an opportunity to learn about the travel/tourism industry and gain cultural perspective through one of our curated experiences.
