Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My daughter inspires me to work harder so I can give her a better chance in life. My disabled mother inspires me to work harder so I can take care of her. I am also pushed by my need to protect myself and my family. Came out of domestic abuse and it was extremely hard and I want to help other women that are stuck like I was. I was shamed all the time when I was younger, which makes me want to prove myself.

How do you stay motivated?

The biggest thing is seeing my clients improve. Taking care of myself so I can take care of them. I tried over 20 different jobs in my 20s. When I was a housekeeper at a hotel I knew I found my calling. Then I found myself in a hiring/account manager position for a commercial cleaning company. That showed me what was possible. I haven’t missed a cleaning in 5 years at my commercial amounts. Watching my clients get better after using my service is why I do what I do.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I think I would buy a company car with it. It would be my first car with a pretty logo on it. That would take some pressure off of me financially and allow me to be less fearful about hiring some people.
