Who or what is your inspiration in business?

In development, I'm changing a skyline or a neighborhood for decades. I'm inspired by the idea that long after a project is finished, families will live there, businesses will grow there, and communities will thrive because I laid the foundation. I'm inspired by the challenge of taking a vacant lot or a neglected area and seeing the potential that others miss. One development project employs architects, tradespeople, and suppliers. My inspiration is being the catalyst for that economic ecosystem

How do you stay motivated?

I am building the foundation for the future. A lot of communities are better off because of a projects I completed. My work is the purpose. I remind myself that win or lose, the impact I have already made is real.I lead Nichols Development Group not to be the biggest, but to be the most consequential. Every brick laid and every deal signed is a commitment to a better future. I am fueled by the progress I see in my community, and that drive doesn't depend on a trophy-it depends on my integrity.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This $25,000 grant will be utilized to launch the Nichols Path Initiative. At Nichols Development Group, we recognize that the greatest barrier to community growth is access. We will allocate these funds to provide hands-on vocational training and certifications for local youth interested in the trades. By investing in people, we aren't just building structures; we are building a sustainable workforce and a legacy of self-sufficiency.
