Free RegistrationMy biggest inspiration is surviving stage-4 melanoma. That experience changed how I view healthcare. I realized how powerful early detection, monitoring, and access to testing can be. It pushed me to build Avendano Health so more people can take control of their health earlier, before small problems become life-threatening ones.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by remembering why I started. Surviving cancer showed me how fragile life is and how important preventative healthcare can be. Every patient we help monitor their health or catch a problem early reminds me that this work matters. Building something that improves access to testing keeps me pushing forward every day.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the funds into expanding access to affordable preventative testing through Avendano Health. This includes community screening initiatives, expanding our telehealth infrastructure, and subsidizing lab panels for underserved patients. The goal is to help more people detect health issues earlier and make preventative healthcare more accessible.
