My inspiration in business comes from solving problems that shouldn’t exist. In veterinary medicine, I’ve seen pets live in preventable dental pain simply because care wasn’t accessible. That drives me to build systems that make high-quality care available to those who need it most, while also supporting the veterinary teams delivering that care and creating a more sustainable, compassionate model for the profession.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the patients. Knowing there are pets living in preventable pain keeps me focused and driven. Even on hard days, I come back to the impact—each case helped is a reminder that this work matters. That sense of purpose, combined with a vision for something better, keeps me going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand access to veterinary dental care for underserved pets. Funds would go toward portable dental equipment, radiography, and supplies to run community clinics. This would allow us to treat more animals living in preventable pain while building a sustainable model that can scale and reach more communities in need.
