Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The inspiration for my business, All Made by Jade, comes from seeing big businesses like SHEIN, H&M, and Zara replicate the beautiful craft of crochet by mass-producing pieces and selling them cheaply, often lacking quality and sustainability. This takes away the uniqueness, appreciation, and personal connection that comes with handmade crochet. Because of this, it can be hard for customers to find true one-of-a-kind crocheted gifts with sentimental value.

How do you stay motivated?

What keeps me motivated is knowing that through All Made by Jade, I can bring people’s crochet visions to life with pieces that are truly handmade and one of a kind. It motivates me to continuously put in skill, time, and passion into creating high-quality customized pieces that keep the creativity, uniqueness, and personal connection of handmade crochet. Seeing how happy this makes people brings me joy and motivates me to keep going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My plan is to use the funding by paying for Etsy fees, allowing me to keep listing more products and patterns so I can continue scaling my business. Selling patterns will help me reach other crochet artists who are interested in my unique crochet designs that aren't very popular on the market already such as my satin lined loc hats. I'll also invest in purchasing materials to sell at more vendor markets in my community. I'll also invest in materials like tags and labels to help my brand grow.
