Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration of becoming a salon owner came from working in my cousin Latefa Wolfe salon (honey bee salon) located in Summerville Sc. She came from the same small town as me which is St.George sc. she’s was a single mother of three. That hustle hard for the lifestyle she wanted. And inspired me after 6 years of working beside her to step out on faith to open up my on salon. She always inspired me to take chances and to stop sleeping on myself because I did good quality work.

How do you stay motivated?

I stayed motivated as a business owner by doing something I don’t consider work which is hair. This has been a passion of mine since I was 10years old. My goal is to one day to be a celebrity stylist. I also stay motivated by reflecting on my past and refusing to revert back to poverty. Although my mom and grandma kept us with what we needed. I was determined to make a better life for myself and break generational curses. I’m the first business owner out of my grandmother’s kid

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I was to win the 25,000 I would expand my business. I would up grade the back of my shop and turn it into a hair store. There are no good hair stores in my town. I believe this will separate me as a salon on in my area. With me supplying and doing hair I will be able to reach my ultimate goal of financial freedom.
