Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is the people I serve and the community I get to be part of. Seeing Black women and men, queer folks, anyone who’s been overlooked or underserved, step into care and self-love because of something I made keeps me fired up. My ancestors inspire me too. How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I do this. I started with six little roll-ons because I just wanted to smell good. Now I have an entire line of fragrances and natural body care! I host markets, events, and have a community that trusts me. Seeing the impact of my work, getting messages from people whose days I’ve brightened, and knowing I’m building something that actually matters keeps me going. If I won $25,000, I would invest it in growing Naturally NaQuai into a full lifestyle brand and community hub. That means expanding my product lines, building out the market and event spaces I host, and creating more opportunities for creators to shine. I want the money to multiply care, connection, and visibility. Not just for me, but for everyone in the community I serve.
