Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my ancestors, Elders, and the mentors who taught me that success is measured by how many people you lift up along the way. As an Indigenous artist and entrepreneur, I carry a responsibility to honour our stories while creating new opportunities for the next generation. From facilitating small art workshops to winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup Vancouver Host City Poster Contest, I’m reminded that all moments full of love, gratitude and meaningful impact.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the idea that art can change how people see themselves and the world around them. When a young person sees Indigenous culture celebrated with pride in public spaces, it sparks confidence, curiosity, and possibility. Knowing that my work can inspire even one young person to believe in their voice and their gifts keeps me moving forward every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would reinvest the $25,000 back into the community, expanding projects that bring art, culture, and mentorship to youth and the most vulnerable. My goal is limit the financial barriers and allow people to have safe spaces where self-expression is the foundation, innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, and cultural pride is amplified.
