Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration has always been my mom, Ms Georgia Matute. Growing up, I had a front-row seat to her strength, resilience and unwavering determination. As a single parent, she carried the weight of raising my siblings and I on her own, yet she never let us feel like we were lacking anything. She worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed and even many of the things we wanted. No matter how long her day was or how tired she might have felt, she always showed up for us.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by intentionally surrounding myself with creativity and inspiration in various forms. One of the ways I keep my passion alive is by attending art exhibitions and visiting art galleries. Being in those spaces allows me to experience different styles, techniques, and perspectives firsthand. Each piece of artwork tells a story, and seeing how other artists express themselves pushes me to think outside the box and expand my own creative boundaries.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would open the art gallery of my dream. I would also purchase a wheelchair accessible van, which would greatly improve my independence and mobility. As someone who is unable to walk and uses a motorized wheelchair, having accessible transportation is not just a convenience but a.necessity. As Ambassador for Ms Wheelchair Texas and being an Artist, It would allow me to move around more freely, attend events, attend appointments with Government Officials as I advocate for the differently abled.
