Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the belief that systems can be redesigned to better serve people. As a mother and entrepreneur, I’m driven to create opportunities not just for myself but for my community and the next generation. I’m inspired by builders like Daymond John who proved that vision, creativity, and resilience can turn limited resources into real economic impact. For me, entrepreneurship is about building solutions that leave communities stronger.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the impact of what I’m building. I know the work I do today creates opportunities for the next generation. My faith keeps me grounded when the road gets hard. But I’ll be honest, discipline and purpose outcompete motivation every time. Builders keep moving because the mission is heavier than the excuses. Progress, purpose, and the people I’m building for keep me moving.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into expanding the civic technology platforms I’m building, tools that help communities connect with local leaders, resources, and real economic opportunity. Funding goes toward product development, user testing, and scaling to additional cities. I’m already in active development with two platforms. This capital closes the gap between prototype and contract. My goal is simple: turn innovative ideas into infrastructure that strengthens communities.
