I’m inspired by founders who build with intention and actually create access, not just profit. Especially Black women who have taken industries that weren’t built for us and created their own lanes anyway. I’m also really inspired by the community I come from. Seeing how often Black-owned businesses are overlooked despite having incredible products, and how creators are constantly being undervalued or misaligned in partnerships, is a big part of what pushed me to build Pyllr i

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by staying clear on why I started. Pyllr isn’t just an idea to me, it’s something I know is needed. When I think about how many Black-owned businesses struggle to get visibility and how often creators are undervalued or misaligned, it reminds me that what I’m building actually matters. What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the funding to support Pyllr’s development and launch. This includes refining the platform, improving the user experience, and building core tools that help creators and Black-owned businesses connect and collaborate effectively. A portion would also go toward early marketing and community building to bring users onto the platform and build initial traction. Overall, the funding would help me launch more confidently and create real opportunities for both creators and businesse
