My inspiration comes from my faith in Christ and the example set by my parents. They taught me that obstacles are simply challenges to overcome and that perseverance matters more than perfection. Their resilience shaped how I built The Honest Lather—creating handcrafted products with purpose, faith, and a commitment to never giving up on the work set before me.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated through perseverance, tenacity, and a commitment to creating soap that’s both safe for all skin types and joyful to use. Every batch is a chance to combine creativity with care—crafting products that are gentle, high quality, and fun. Knowing my work can bring a little happiness to someone’s day keeps me inspired to keep going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

f I won the $25,000, I would reinvest it directly into The Honest Lather to grow my small business. The funds would support better equipment, expanded production, improved packaging, and marketing so I can reach more customers. My goal is to scale while continuing to create high-quality, handcrafted soaps that bring joy and are safe for all skin types.
