Who or what is your inspiration in business?

What inspires me in business is knowing where I came from and what I’ve overcome. Growing up in foster care taught me resilience, and becoming a mom gave me purpose beyond myself. I’m driven to be a role model for my daughter and for women who feel like their past defines them. My journey and my book are proof that you can rise, rebuild, and create the life you choose.

How do you stay motivated?

I don’t rely on motivation, I rely on purpose. I stay grounded in my “why” my daughter, the life I’m building, and the woman I’m becoming. Discipline, vision, and reminding myself how far I’ve come keeps me moving forward. I’m not chasing motivation, I’m committed to my growth.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000 within the RISE community, I would reinvest it directly into scaling our impact. I’d expand our magazine distribution, elevate our events and podcast production, and invest in marketing to reach more women who need to be seen and heard. This wouldn’t just grow a business, it would grow a community, create opportunities, and help more women step into their next level.
