Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My grandmother planted that seed long ago. She was an exceptional businesswoman — an executive at GTE back in the 1980s and 90s — breaking barriers at a time when it was anything but easy for an African American woman in corporate America. That same entrepreneurial spirit runs deep in me. I started a company with the goal of building multiple businesses under one umbrella — creating something lasting and meaningful.

How do you stay motivated?

The early stage of starting a company is a test of endurance as much as inspiration. Motivation tends to fade in waves, so the goal isn’t to “stay hyped,” but to build systems that carry you when energy dips. So here I am, taking that leap — and trusting that this is only the beginning.
