Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my lived experience in construction. After 15 years on farms, in homes, and on commercial and industrial projects, I saw how much time and materials were wasted cutting and adjusting on-site. That drove me to create a system where every part is designed for its exact placement on the jobsite, so crews install without cutting or drilling, and we no longer rely on deforestation or extractive industries. PBM is the culmination of these experiences.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I care about people and the planet, and I want our buildings to reflect that care instead of remaining stuck in old processes that are failing us. PBM lets me create construction materials that are cheaper, much faster to put together, and arrive ready to use with no changes needed on-site. My motivation is you: I want to make housing affordable using the materials that are already accessible to us.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I can prototype PBM across key building elements, including timber framing, masonry forms, truss members, I joists, beams, posts, and fencing. I need to put these parts in the hands of the builders who shape our built world, so they can see what systems-engineered design can offer. The funds will also let me file PBM’s trademark and begin patenting my work through the USPTO. With $25,000, I can start changing how we build our world, but I need your vote to help me get there.
