Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My kids inspire me first and foremost. I lead as a person I want my kids to bear witness to and as a mom they can be proud of. I raise by example and what’s a more meaningful way to live then that as a role model for your children? Next, the families we work with. I’ve been blessed to meet and help so many incredible families over the years and they keep me humble and inspired.

How do you stay motivated?

I’m motivated by my “why” every single day. On the good days, I am reminded of why I started my journey in the nonprofit leadership path. But on those hard days, I remind myself and fight to hold on to the “why” because that gets me through and keeps me motivated to push forward and not give up.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My kids and I have had a dream of having a home we can call our own. I would take this money and make our dream come true by purchasing our very first home. This would give us a place to land, a place for my kids to always know is there and a start for me to build a home and legacy for my kids to always have, even after I'm gone.
