Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My entrepreneurial inspiration is my grandmother, Adegoke, who could neither read nor write but understood the power of education and opportunity. As an underdog, she quietly defied tradition selling food in the marketplace to fund her daughters' education. Her courage changed our family’s future. Her daughters became professionals, their children leaders across fields. Her resilience, never quit guides me today turning barriers into opportunity, building ventures that impacts people.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by my vision of becoming a philanthropist who leaves the world better than I found it. I want to support causes I deeply care about, especially education and healthcare for underserved communities. On difficult days as an entrepreneur I remind myself that meaningful impact requires persistence, patience, and hard work. Keeping my focus on the difference I hope to make gives me the strength to continue building, knowing lasting success is created through dedication and resilience

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand my cannabis and CBD company by launching a workforce education program for individuals seeking careers in the cannabis industry. Participants would complete training and a six-week apprenticeship at my dispensary, then be placed with partner retailers. The funds would also help expand our CBD product line to meet demand and launch a women’s apparel line focused on elegant, empowering designs.
