Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by Virgil Abloh and Donald Glover, both creatives who turned individuality into impact. Abloh’s approach to elevating the overlooked informs my brand, Wear Street, while Glover showed me I can exist across film, design, and storytelling without limits. My time at Morehouse College helped shape that mindset.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by turning my experiences into something meaningful. Creating has always been how I process and move forward, so I keep building whether it’s film, design, or writing. Consistency keeps me grounded, even when motivation isn’t there.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the $25,000 to launch my apparel brand and self-produce microbudget films through my creative LLCs. The funds would support production, marketing, and distribution while building opportunities for emerging Dallas creatives, creating infrastructure and mentorship similar to Tyler Perry Studios, so Black talent can thrive locally without leaving the city.
