Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from loss, resilience, and purpose. After losing my sister to a devastating illness at just 50, I moved to St. Louis to support our father. I couldn’t bear the thought of her resting place being neglected. That pain gave birth to Eternal Bloom. Today, I’m driven to honor her by creating beautiful, healing spaces and helping others feel seen, supported, and never forgotten.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my “why.” This work is personal. It’s about honoring my sister, supporting my family, and creating something meaningful from loss. When things get hard, I think about the families who can’t always show up, the loved ones who deserve care, and the lives that can be changed through second chances. Faith, discipline, and purpose keep me going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would expand Eternal Bloom and launch ICARE’s transitional housing for youth aging out of foster care. In a city full of vacant buildings, we can create safe, stable homes and real second chances. The funds would support equipment, outreach, and program development. This is more than business—it’s about healing, opportunity, and changing lives. Your vote helps make that possible.
