Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Growing up in Silicon Valley and being raised in East Palo Alto, California, I saw the contrast between opportunity and inequality up close. With a mother working in government and politics, I was exposed early to both public service and innovation. Those experiences shaped my desire to build at the intersection of technology and government to improve systems that affect people’s lives and create solutions that make the world better for everyone.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the scale of the problems we’re trying to solve. Failures in infrastructure, energy, and defense systems cost lives and billions of dollars each year. Knowing that the technology we’re building at FibrX could help prevent catastrophic failures and protect critical systems keeps me focused. I’m also driven by the responsibility of building something meaningful that can create a lasting impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would help accelerate FibrX’s transition from pilots to commercialization. We would use the funding to expand sensor manufacturing, deploy additional systems on critical infrastructure, and scale data collection to strengthen our AI-driven detection platform. This support would position FibrX as a first mover in transforming how corrosion and structural risk are monitored across a trillion-dollar global infrastructure market.
