Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration in business is the children — watching them grow, discover their joy in movement, and develop a lifelong love of dance. There is no greater affirmation of our work than seeing students who joined Zawadi in 1994 return as parents, now bringing their own children into the company. How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by knowing that what we have built is more than a dance company — it is a safe haven. A nurturing community where children are surrounded by entrepreneurs, artists, and like-minded individuals who share a passion for this art form. That village of dedicated people keeps both the students and me inspired every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would be allocated directly toward our core operational needs — securing our studio space, purchasing essential supplies and materials, and covering venue costs for our annual concerts. These are the foundational investments that allow us to deliver a high-quality, culturally rich experience to every child and family we serve.
