Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration in business is believing I can succeed in abundance. If one can, I can also. I am destined for greatness. Believing in myself and God at all times. My mom also inspires me because throughout all life’s challenges I never saw her give up. The strength amongst women are powerful, I will deliver greatness despite all odds.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping a positive mindset, remaining an adaptive learner, setting an example for my 7 year old daughter, who also gives me motivation because she now wants to become a Chef. I’m also motivated because I’m from a small town in Louisiana where the poverty rate is high. Last I’ve held onto this passion since a young girl to become a Private Chef preparing meals for 6 siblings when my mom worked tirelessly hours. The joy food brings to people makes me happy.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I was given a chance to win 25,000 it would definitely help me jump start a food service business. I would love to someday own a food related business in my community and surrounding areas. I would ensure I pour back into my community, providing for free lunch for kids, elderly, and those who find it hard receiving meals. I would have financial support to help deliver my business plan, purchasing required gear and equipment to support my professional career as a Chef.
