Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration is the power of resilience. I’ve experienced both success and rock bottom. After starring in a national TV commercial, teaching high school for five years, and serving as an award-winning leader for a Fortune 500 company, I lost everything and faced homelessness while battling depression. Rebuilding through discipline and daily habits led me to write Rebound Succeed and Win. My journey proves rock bottom can become the beginning of purpose and helping others rise.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by purpose. After rebuilding my life from rock bottom, I realized that sharing my story could inspire others facing their own challenges. Knowing that people around the world connect with the message of resilience and possibility reminds me that our struggles can become a source of strength for others. That purpose fuels me to keep serving, inspiring hope, and helping people believe they can rise again.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win the $25,000, I will invest it into expanding the Next Gen Up Global movement—bringing empowerment school tours, leadership workshops, mentorship, and personal development resources to young people. My mission is to equip the next generation with the mindset, discipline, and habits needed to overcome adversity and achieve their dreams. This support will help us reach more youth and create lasting impact in communities.
