Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by purpose driven businesses and community leaders who treat people well and give back in meaningful ways. Seeing that impact firsthand, and understanding how marketing can help brands grow, connect, and expand that impact even further, is what keeps me driven every day.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by purpose-driven work. I intentionally partner with brands and people whose values align with mine, because meaningful work creates meaningful impact. Giving back to local communities, through the Hamden Lions Club and my previous role on the Board of Directors for the Barnum Foundation for Life, keeps me grounded and inspired. Seeing that impact come to life through my design and marketing work is what pushes me forward every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would invest it into growing my small business, Tell Me Something Good. I would launch a Shopify website, move beyond Etsy, invest in paid advertising, and place bulk product orders to scale the brand. The goal is to spread positive mental health messages through uplifting quotes and designs on merchandise, while donating a portion of profits to organizations that support mental health and community wellbeing.
