My inspiration in the food business comes from a mix of culture, creativity, and the entrepreneurs who turned their passion for food into successful brands like Chef G Garvin whom is my favorite Chef. I’m inspired by Chefs who built businesses from their recipes and created experiences people remember. For me, it’s about creating food that brings people together and building a brand that represents quality and passion. I love bringing the taste of home to other people.

How do you stay motivated?

One of my biggest motivators is seeing people enjoy my food. Positive feedback, repeat customers, and word-of-mouth referrals remind me that my food matters. Building a legacy for my children and my grandchild is also how I stay motivated. What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into equipment, marketing, and operations to scale my restaurant/catering business. The goal would be to increase production capacity, strengthen my brand presence, and position the business for consistent catering contracts and long-term growth. My goal would be to use the funding not just to operate, but to expand and build a sustainable food brand. My customers have already given me a nick name “The Potato Lady”.
