Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Since the late 90s and early 2000s, I have been profoundly inspired by the nail industry. As an artist at heart, I have always appreciated the unique expression that nail artistry brings to life. The women who surrounded me during my upbringing, particularly my aunties with their long nails and exotic hairstyles, were my greatest inspiration. They embodied beauty in a time when life presented challenges, using their nail and hair artistry as a statement of identity and resilience.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation springs from an deep well of gratitude, as I reflect on the countless challenges and obstacles I've triumphantly faced. Each experience stands as a powerful testament to my resilience, a vivid reminder that if I can conquer these trials, I have within me the strength to relentlessly pursue my dreams and cultivate my vision. This steadfast belief ignites my passion and determination, driving me forward with unwavering commitment and a fierce desire to realize my aspirations.

My business is on the cusp of an exciting expansion that will empower us to better serve our community. With a goal of $25,000, we aim to secure a commercial storefront, enriching our capacity to hire additional nail technicians and deliver exceptional services. This investment will cover deposits and essential renovations—upgrading electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing, and creating eye-catching signage.
