Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration begins with my mother, a hardworking woman who cared for me even while battling her own struggles. Growing up seeing people build something from my childhood neighborhood showed me what was possible. Along with mentors who redirected my life through faith and martial arts, they taught me that business isn’t just about success it’s about lifting others and creating opportunity.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering where I came from, the people who helped redirect my life and those I can help. Faith gave me purpose, martial arts taught me discipline, and the Navy strengthened my character. I’ve made mistakes, but I never forgot the struggles I overcame or the redemption I was given, and I never let those mistakes keep me down. That spirit drives the work I do today.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the funds into advancing the work of Lifted Arch Films continue developing and producing uplifting film projects that give opportunity to talented people who may not otherwise have access to the industry. This support would act as a catalyst, helping cover production costs, equipment, and training so more voices and real-life stories of perseverance can be shared.
