What is Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreI am inspired by Black business women like Madam C.J. Walker and Sheila Johnson who built something powerful by serving communities others overlooked. They listened, understood specific needs, and created value with precision and intention. They treated business as both strategy and art. Seeing women who found opportunity in neglected spaces reminds me that disciplined vision and courage can build institutions that last.
How do you stay motivated?People keep me motivated. I love connecting with others, hearing their stories, and recognizing pieces of myself in their struggles. When someone shares a challenge and I can offer insight or point them toward an opportunity, it energizes me. I have seen access and timing changes lives. Bringing the right people and opportunities together, even in small ways, keeps me driven.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $12,500 to develop and pilot MedLink as a college tuition-integrated health access and workforce development platform. And $12,500 to fund undergraduate research projects for Howard University Research Coalition.
