Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My primary business inspiration is a genuine love for helping people without judgment. Shaped by hardships—financial struggles, difficult marriages, near-homelessness, and losing a 28-year career to toxic management—I’ve gained deep empathy and compassion. I refuse to judge others, having faced unfair criticism myself. My work centers on solving real problems, building trust, and creating meaningful impact through kind, open support.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation is driven by resilience, family values, & an unwavering belief in hard work. My family modeled dedication, & the importance of never underestimating yourself, shaping my habits of staying organized, persistent, and committed to excellence. When you set your mind to something, work diligently, & refuse to quit, good things follow. By turning hardship into empathy & pain into purpose, I stay grounded, driven, and determined to achieve what I know I’m capable of.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win $25,000, it would mean everything. After losing my 28-year career, my heart was shattered—yet my parents, sister Becky, & dear friends carried me through with love that literally saved me. I’d pour my gratitude into repaying them—especially Becky, my soul’s anchor. The rest would launch Simply Sorted by Kristen & Becky, covering licensing, insurance, & marketing. This prize would be proof that broken dreams can bloom again.
